Existence of Life Is A Highly Overrated Phenomenom
soo since i feel like shit i’m going to escape my life yet again and play mass effect 3 because well, why would you not want to play mass effect 3?

this playthrough i’m going to

  • kill ashley (hate that bitch)
  • if i can’t kill her then i’m just gonna make her a war asset
  • let samara kill herself (not that i don’t love samara but it’s just so dramatic)
  • kill kai leng with the renegade bumper
  • make more renegade decisions then paragon
  • fuck over the salarian dalatrass and help the krogan (she’s an ignorant little bitch)
  • destroy the quarians and let tali kill herself (once again for dramatic effect)
  • and destroy the reapers. i don’t trust those niggas, so im making sure they all die no matter the cost because it was shepard would do. i didn’t make it through 3 games to bitch out last minute, those mother fuckers are dying.
whoa whoa whoa [mass effect 3 ending rant]

SPOILERS

it totally just hit me right as i was beginning to turn on my mass effect 3. i have yet to rant about my opinion of the ending and the stupidity revolving around it. by stupidity, i’m not referring to the ending, i’m referring to the fans complaining about the ending. okay, one of the major complaints and most common that i yet don’t understand is the misunderstanding and frustration over the decision concept of the game and the little impact it had to the final result. how every move, every decision, ever dialogue option, paragon or renegade, and ever relationship option did not affect the outcome. okay people, now take a minute or two and think to yourself. mass effect 2 had a very detailed decision concept as well. you had the ultimate decisions of deciding who to recruit and whether or not to gain their trust and whether or not to accomplish that as paragon or renegade. you can choose not to activate grunt, not to activate legion, and not to even recruit tali. you can choose whether to gain their trust and furthermore expand the game. however, these choices do not affect the main guaranteed fact that at the end you defeat the collectors and have the decision of destroying or salvaging their base. your other decisions really just expand the experience of the game, determine friendship and relationship status with the crew and whether crew members live or die. that is all. it is even a possibility for shepard to die, but that doesn’t change the fact that you DO defeat the collectors and you DO have to make the paragon or renegade decision. bioware applied the same concept in 3. your decisions in the game determine your over all experience. and your decisions in 2 do matter because depending on them is what determines who will return in the 3rd one. there were so many defining moments in the game involving the conflicts between races and struggles uniting them. it is very well possible for wrex and mordin and jack and miranda and tali and legion and thane and practically everyone else to die. without them in 3, it’s an entirely different experience. those decisions in recruiting them, gaining their trust and keeping them alive do matter and the results of doing so are the defining moments you get through out the whole game and the success of taking back earth. but, regardless your efforts and even if the reapers totally obliterate earth, your still going to win and your still going to be face with the final decisions just as 2. and i personally speaking loved the ending. shepard had to die, he’s survived to much and one thing i loved in this game was shepard psyche. you can see in his face and in his decisions that he was tired, he was tired of fighting the reapers and he fought to very end and finally succeeded. it was very well done. and for those complaining about the lack of closure, they provided all the closure in the world throughout the entire game, it was highly unneeded. all the conflicts between races were resolved and the galaxy was at peace, it was very obvious where the future of the races lied. as for specific characters, shepard had closure with each one before the final battle personally or through hologram. he said his goodbyes and what needed to be said to every character, literally. that is of course, you didn’t make the right decisions in 2 (troll face). bioware isn’t dumb. once the game is completed, it rewinds you back to beginning of the entire ending sequence clearly hinting that they will release different dlc ending possibilities. and with that ending, it couldn’t be more of an obvious hint towards a mass effect 4. nothing stops at 3 nowadays. people need to stop letting an ending ruin the overall gaming experience which not one person to date can deny was phenomenal

well it’s 3:45 in the morning and i have just accepted my fate of being fucked for school so i’m just not even gonna bother sleeping. do i smell a 2nd mass effect 3 play through? i believe so. time to take back earth yet again (y)
